Scotland
Once upon a time i was in Scotland. I promise, that was the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. Starting from the beginning I drove from Wakefield to Edinburgh. My route was very nice because for a very long time we kept to roads from which you could see the sea. When I arrived, I saw a beautiful town. In many places there were climatic roads made of stone.
I thought it would be a city like any other, but the atmosphere among all those old, similar buildings was amazing.
A Scottish London Eye?
There was a big circle in the middle of the city along the lines of the London Eye, it looks great…. but it’s a bit smaller.
The art gallery
The free art gallery I have visited was just beautiful. I saw a lot of huge paintings and wonderful sculptures.
Scott Monument – a wonderful Victorian building
It was so huge that it was hard not to see it from everywhere I went. And, of course, there are real Scotsmen standing there in their national costumes and playing the bagpipes.
Let’s look for squirrels!
On the last day, I still had time to go shopping and take a walk in a scenic park in Edinburgh. There were lots of beautiful flowers, benches to relax on and friendly squirrels running around next to me.
In the middle of the place there was a huge fountain and above it, there was a view of the castle.
Scotland at night
I can assure you that Scotland at night is as beautiful as in the daytime. We can see beautiful sights that stay with us forever. The fireworks over Edinburgh Castle looked magical.
I was there on the day when the orchestra had a concert in the castle. They went through and played in the street, and the music was heard all over the city.
Honestly, I recommend everyone to visit this city, I felt great there because it was really beautiful!
