The interesting case of The Recluse of Providence

Everybody has various hobbies and interests, be it, riding a bike, painting, listening to music, writing or reading. And when we talk about reading, everyone has a different taste. I really love to read interesting books with fantastic plots and characters, and with horror elements. I’ve met many authors, metaphorically of course, and I’ve already written reviews about their works. But there’s one man who still fascinates me. I mean his poems and tales are pretty dark and… Alright, I’ll be completely clear and honest with you guys. His name is Howard Philips Lovecraft…
And he frightens me…

I still remember the first time when I heard about him and his books. I was curious because it’s pretty unusual to hear about a man who writes horror stories and mixes dark magic, pure horror and cosmic gods. So, I admit, I told myself ,,Go on, try it, and make it real.” And my journey has begun.
Many of you might think: ,,If you are afraid of him and can’t stop complaining about his stories, then why are you still telling us about him and you can’t stop reading his books?” Here is my explanation why!
You see, if we talk about horror stories we can already picture a scene of a woman possessed by an evil spirit. We can expect jump scares from everywhere on our television screens as well. Despite these elements, sometimes we simply don’t feel this pure fear, which is necessary if we want to experience a horror tale. But H.P Lovecraft shows us that he can ultimately send shivers down our spine. When we read his novels, we actually feel this primal type of fear. The fear that our ancestors experienced. The fear of the unknown.
H.P. Lovecraft, also known as The Recluse from Providence is a real example of a person who can instill in us the greatest fear, but at the same time, he is not hurting us physically. If you are ready to experience this Lovecraftian horror, be prepared!
I can obviously say, that no matter how fearful I am when I read these novels, H.P Lovecraft will be one of my personal best authors of all time. Forever. Like the memory of Howard Philips Lovecraft that remains unwavering since the year one.
