Sarah J. Mass is a well-known fantasy writer from the USA. She gained worldwide fame thanks to the youth series A court of thorns and roses  and Throne of glass, as well as the first adult series titled Crescent City. The writer’s work consists of¹ sixteen fantastic novels that are hard to break away from. Without a doubt², every fantasy reader would find something for themselves in her works.

The A court of thorns and roses series is for those who are looking for a beautiful romantic plot. The series tells the love story between a powerful High Lord of the Night Court Rhysand, who is able to do and sacrifice everything for his loved ones, and a young girl named Feyre, for whom life has never been easy, but she has  always  proved that nothing is impossible for her. The series also has plenty of humor and plot twists³ that keep in suspense⁴ until the very end.

Another series is recommended to those who love intrigue, plot twists, combat⁵ and the magical world. The Throne of glass series tells the story of a young queen Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, who went through real hell to become a powerful warrior whose name was feared even by the strongest enemies. The main character is intelligent, funny, talented and will do anything for her kingdom. She surrounds herself with strong allies who are also her friends, which is why nothing can stop her from achieving her goal of protecting her homeland Terrasen.

The last books  are for the readers who like very modern fantasy worlds with a vibe⁶ similar to Sherlock Holmes’ books. Murder, trauma, an unsolved mystery and creatures that should not be trusted – that is a Crescent City’s main plot. Difficult experience contributed to⁷ the development of the strong character of Bryce Quinlan, who, with the help of the fallen angel Hunt Athalar, intends to⁸ defeat the specters of the past and find the killer of her friends. Social status, city authorities⁹ and numerous obstacles¹⁰ do not make it easier for her . However, the main characters do not intend to give up so easily.

Sarah Jay Mass is a very talented writer who makes a wonderful world, full of magic, love, humor and plot twists. Each of them has its own story, magic system and detailed map, which can be seen on the first pages of each book. What is more, it is so easy to fall for her characters that are well-written and unique. There are many of them, so everyone will definitely find someone they can identify with.
