Let’s go abroad! Spain and the island of Mallorca
Since the holidays have come soon, I want to tell you about my vacation which was a year ago. I was in Spain then. It was the best vacation of my life! I was on the island of Mallorca. You can easily spot La Seu Cathedral. It is the most characteristic monument on the island. It is located in Palma, the capital of Majorca. From a distance, it looks like a lump of stone. There were plenty of people there. And there were queues everywhere.
A nice place I visited was Bellver Castle, which is the most famous castle in Mallorca. It is worth noting that it is the only circular castle in Spain and one of the few Gothic castles in Europe with such a shape.
Another beautiful place is Cala Deià, which is a bay on the west coast of Mallorca. It is a perfect place for diving, as there are beautiful cliffs, picturesque views and clear blue water. It’s the most beautiful landscape I’ve ever been to. At the end of the post you can see a photo from this wonderful place. This view captivated me the most during this trip.
Unfortunately I was only there for 4 days so I did not have time to see much. I would love to go there again and see things like Sóller, in which you can see a wooden train that runs there since the beginning of the 20th century. A part of the route of this historic cable car runs through a tunnel hollowed out in the mountains separating the town of Sóller from the rest of the island. During your trip you will have the chance to enjoy beautiful views of olive groves, orange orchards and the impressive Serra de Tramuntana mountains. There are many interesting places to see and I could go on and on. I hope I encouraged you to go on a trip there. I highly recommend going there because Mallorca is worth seeing such views. I have to go till later. Thanks for visiting my blog.
