The greatest striker of our generation

Each of us has a favorite football player. One of mine is, in my opinion, the best striker of our generation and our compatriot Robert Lewandowski. Robert is a 36 year old striker currently playing in the best club in the world FC Barcelona. Robert has a great career, great story, and great achievements.
A STORY ABOUT ROBERT’S CAREER
Robert started his career first in Legia Warszawa then he went to Znicz Pruszków where he scored 38 goals and he was top scorer in seasons 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 for the third and second league. On 18 June 2008 he was transferred to Lech Poznań for 1.5 mil zł. In Lech he had his debut on 8 August where he went on the pitch in 67 minute and he scored his first goal in Top League (The Ekstraklasa).
In December he was recognized as the biggest Discovery in Poland. In season 2008/2009 he won the Polish championship with Lech Poznań and again in May 2010 he won with his club the Polish Football Championship (The Ekstraklasa) and he had 18 goals where he won the Top League Goal Scorer Crown (The Top Scorer of the Ekstraklasa). For Lech he played 82 official matches where he scored 41 goals and got 20 assists.

After season 2009/2010 ended, Borussia Dortmund bought him for 4.5mil euro. He had his first goal on 19 September while playing with Schalke 04. In this season he played mostly as an offensive midfielder and he got German Championship. He played 33 matches and scored 8 goals and made 3 assists. The rest of the seasons (2011-2014) in Dortmund was great for him, as he scored 4 goals against great-playing Real Madrid and he won German Super Cup 2 times and German Championship, and was the top scorer in Bundesliga. In Dortmund he played 187 matches, scored 103 goals and got 43 assists.

After his contract expired he went to the Dortmund biggest rival, Bayern Monachium. Together in Bayern he played 8 seasons (2014/2015-2021/2022). He was just the best, winning everything he could, was scoring goals like crazy. In seasons 2019/2020-2021/2022 he had his „prime”. He was a brutal machine, won Triple Crown, Champions League and was just shining. Everyone thought Lewa will win Ballon D’or (also known as Golden Ball, the most prestigious award for the best player) but France Football (a sports magazine that organizes the gala where the most prestigious and best football, individual and team awards are given away) canceled the gala because of Covid which meant that Lewy wouldn’t get Ballon D’or. This was a huge scandal, especially that France Football later told everyone there would be no rewards given later for the year 2020. In 2021 Lewy was great again, again the world thought he would get his well deserved D’or but France Football scammed him and gave this award to Lionel Messi. For Bayern he played 375 matches, scored 344 goals and got 43 assists.
18 July 2022 Robert went to FC Barcelona and he has been playing in this club till this day. In the current season he is great again. In 16 matches he scored 19 goals. Again the world admires him and although it is just the start of the season Lewy is in a great form and if he keeps this form there is a chance he will get his dream award Ballon D’or.
