Dziś Dzień Matki, myślę, że ważny dla większości z nas.

Rola matki jest tak złożona, że powstało mnóstwo piosenek o mamach i dla mam, a języki pełne są idiomów, fraz, porównań i przysłów zawierających to drogie naszym sercom słowo.

Samo słowo jest łatwe do wyartykułowania i brzmi bardzo podobnie w wielu  językach świata nie bez przyczyny –  do jego  wypowiedzenia dąży (zazwyczaj z sukcesem) małe dziecko😊

Zachęcam Was do przeanalizowania, a także do używania poniższych wyrazów/fraz. Według mnie najbardziej ujmujące jest określenie a face only a mothercould love , pięknie ilustruje czym jest bezwarunkowa, matczyna miłość.

From one’s mother, typically when one was a child.

I learned how to bake at my mother’s knee when I was just a girl.

necessity is the mother of invention – potrzeba matką wynalazku

(proverb) Creative solutions are often produced in response to difficulties or hardships that need to be overcome.

old enough to be (one’s) mother – mogłaby być twoją matką ( o dużo starszej partnerce)

Used especially when referring to a woman who is or might be in a romantic or sexual relationship with a younger.

the/(one’s) mother tongue – mowa ojczysta

The native language of one’s home country.

like mother, like daughter– jaka matka, taka córka

Said when a daughter takes after her mother in terms of mannerisms, interests, behavior, etc
