Hello everyone!

My name is Anasteysha. I’m a first-year cosmetology student and want to share with you my passion. Two years ago, I decided to try crocheting\knitting and it is my favorite activity to this day. My first project was a red knitted scarf for my boyfriend. The scarf was pretty warm but ugly because it was my first and last attempt at knitting with knitting needles. After that I started using a crochet hook because it’s easier and there are a lot of patterns that can be used while you crocheting. For two years I have crocheted many closet items: sweaters, skirts, tops, socks, gloves, scarves and hats. 

Why is crocheting exciting? 

I like to crochet because like creating something from nothing. Any yarn can be used to create anything. You can make something yourself or, like me, buy guides from other people, thereby supporting crocheting community. Crochet sweaters warm in winter, tops and skirts are great closet items that can be worn in the spring and this is not the whole list of things that can be handmade. 

Never be afraid to try something new, for sure you will find your passion!

1. Crochet is  a type of needlecraft in which you use a hook to create fabric from loops of yarn. 

2. The knitting  process basically involves continuously interlinking or knotting series of loops of yarn using needles. 

3.  A crochet hook (or crochet needle) is an implement used to make loops in thread or yarn and to interlock them into crochet stitches.
