I am big fan of European football. My favourite team is the Spanish club Real Madrid, which plays in „La Liga” – the top league in Spanish football. The club was founded 121 years ago – 6 March 1902. Real Madrid plays home matches in the stadium – „Santiago Bernabeu”. The club has a nickname „Los blancos”. In English it means „The whites” because the members of the club have traditionality worn white home kits. The club also has a honorific title „Real.” In Spanish this world means „royal” and was bestowed to the club by King of Spain in 1920. Real Madrid has an official anthem „Hala Madrid y nada mas”. It means in English „Hala Madrid and nothing more”. Real Madrid has never been relegated from the top division in Spanish. The club won La liga 35 times and 20 times the Spanish cup „Copa del Rey”. Many top players played in my favourite club such as Cristiano Ronaldo or Zinedine Zidane. I started supporting the club in 2007, when my favourite players Sergio Ramos and Raul Gonzalez played there. My dream is to be at Real Madrid’s match, but I haven’t been yet.
